I’m Daniel Allen Butler, author and historian, and I’ve been fascinated by the Titanic and her story for more than forty years. As you make your way through these pages, it is my hope that you will come to share some of the wonder, the excitement, the terror, the sorrow, and the fascination that have made the story of the Titanic and the people aboard her so compelling a tale for the past century.
